Classes

 

Hatha Yoga (5 Elements) • Yoga of Balance (Ha = Sun / Tha = Moon)

In this traditional yoga practice we work on building strength, focus and calmness within the body and the mind.

To experience the energetic effects of Hatha Yoga, we hold the postures for a longer period of time.

In this practice we integrate the 5 Elements according to Ayurveda: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space.

 

 

Mindful Vinyasa Flow • Yoga of Movement

Forming creative, fluent and dynamic body movements to energize our body and mind. In a Vinyasa Flow, we work with the breath and body as one. Our breath is guiding us through the flowing movement of our bodies. We increase the awareness of our breath, concentration and mindfulness in being with our body.

 

 

Kundalini Kriya Yoga • Yoga of Connection

Expanding consciousness. Going on a powerful journey towards experiencing our inner self; our desires, social-life, relationships, spiritual aspirations and love. By working with Asanas, Kriyas, Mudras and Bandhas in the most harmonious way, this practice will lead us to a better understanding of ourselves and a peaceful state of being.

 

 

Yin Yoga (Traditional Chinese Medicine - TCM) • Yoga of Stillness

In the "silent" practice of Yin Yoga, we work with the deeper layers of our bodies. We target the connective tissues/facia as well as the meridian lines and accupressure points known from TCM. Activating our Parasympathetic Nervous System in this practice brings calmness and relaxation for both body and mind. Smooth, long holds between 3-10mins allow us to experience the full effects of this practice. 

 

 

Restorative Yoga • Yoga of Relaxation

In contrast to Yin Yoga where we hold the pose with soft tension, Restorative Yoga allows us to bring ourselves into poses where we can fully relax. We release all tension in our muscles by using helpful and supportive props. Resting in each pose effortless for a minimum of 5 minutes let us experience a state of deep relaxation for both body and mind.

 

 

Yoga Nidra • Yogic Sleep

Diving into a mediative state of consciousness. A yoga practice that intends brining us into a state of total physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Yoga Nidra is practiced in Savasana for either 30 or 60 minutes by listening to a guided mediation.
